As part of the Year of the Homecoming, Banff Parish Church organised a walking tour of the old town, culminating in a visit to the old St Mary’s Kirkyard. They turned to the Society for a guide, and here is a picture of our Secretary, Dr Alistair Mason, explaining how to interpret an old kirkyard to the group. After the walk the church gave us a very nice tea.
